Drones attack enterprises in Tambov and Voronezh Oblasts and airport in Nizhny Novgorod of russia
Drones attacked the russian enterprise "Biochem" in the Tambov Oblast of the russian federation and an industrial enterprise in the Voronezh Oblast of russia. And the airport in Nizhny Novgorod, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, was closed.
This was announced by the governor of the Tambov Oblast, Maksim Yegorov.
"Today at 5:20 a.m. in the town of Rasskazovo, probably due to the hit of a drone at the JSC Biochem enterprise, there was an explosion followed by a fire," Yegorov wrote.
The governor assures that there are no casualties, the fire was extinguished within an hour and that all the necessary services of the town are on duty on the spot.
The governor of the Voronezh Oblast Aleksandr Gusev also announced the attack by drones in Telegram.
"An unmanned aerial vehicle was detected and suppressed in one of the districts of the oblast by regular air defense forces and EW devices. It fell on the building of an industrial enterprise," he wrote.
The governor also assured that there were no casualties, but there was a "small fire on one floor of the building." As of 7 a.m., fire brigades are working on the spot.
Gusev added that the danger of a UAV attack in the region remains.
The russian propaganda publication TASS, with reference to Rosaviatsiya, reports that the Nizhny Novgorod airport has been temporarily closed, presumably due to the threat of an attack by Ukrainian drones.
A little earlier, russian Telegram channels reported that the airport had implemented the "Carpet" plan - this means that it is closed, and planes are diverted to other airports.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, a day ago mass media and Telegram channels published a video of a drone attack on the "Kremniy" plant in Bryansk, russia, which is used in the military industry.
