In Lviv, unknown persons vandalize graves of soldiers at Lychakivske cemetery

Lviv police are looking for unknown persons who scattered flowers and lamps on the graves of killed Ukrainian servicemen at the Lychakivske cemetery.

Yevhen Boiko, a member of the Lviv City Council, announced the destruction of the graves.

In total, vandals damaged 17 graves of soldiers, 3 graves of political prisoners and 2 burials of volunteers.

The police were called to the crime scene. They say that they are already looking for the perpetrators, who desecrated the graves of the defenders.

They also resolve the issue of the legal qualification of the event.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of June 20, in Kyiv, an unknown woman damaged the graves of fallen Ukrainian soldiers Dmytro "Da Vinci" Kotsiubailo, Andrii "Dzhus" Pilshchykov, and Pavlo Petrychenko.

The culprit was a local homeless woman, who was then sent to a mental hospital.
