AFU destroy 1,530 invaders, 64 units of armored vehicles and 48 drones. General Staff names russia’s losses at front

Losses of personnel of russian troops on October 17 increased by 1,530 to 675,800 people, Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 13 tanks, 51 armored fighting vehicles and 23 artillery systems.

This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to October 18, 2024 approximately amounted to:

• personnel - about 675,800 (+1,530) people;
• tanks - 9,027 (+13) units;
• armored combat vehicles - 18,053 (+51) units;
• artillery systems - 19,533 (+23) units;
• MLRS - 1,232 units;
• air defense equipment - 978 units;
• aircraft - 369 units;
• helicopters - 329 units;
• UAVs of the operational-tactical level - 17,152 (+48) units;
• cruise missiles - 2,620 units;
• ships/boats - 28 units;
• submarines - 1 unit;
• automotive equipment and tank trucks - 26,908 (+93) units;
• special equipment - 3,448 (+5) units.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 16, losses of personnel of the russian troops increased by 1,420 to 674,270 people, equipment - by 17 tanks, 33 armored vehicles and 51 artillery systems.
