Orbán says that Zelenskyy's Victory Plan scared him. He wants to push for EU negotiations with russia

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said that the Victory Plan, presented the day before by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, allegedly scared him.

Orbán wrote about this on Facebook on Thursday, October 17.

"President Zelenskyy presents his plan for victory. What was written yesterday in the Ukrainian parliament is more than frightening," Orbán's post reads.

The head of the Hungarian government wrote that the European Union "entered the war" with a poorly organized, poorly executed strategy built on the basis of bad calculations.

"We are going to lose this war, so the strategy is not working. We need to change something," Orbán added.

According to him, the European Union needs to pursue a strategy of peace, not a strategy of war. As a way out of the current situation, he sees a ceasefire and peace negotiations.

Orbán added that he intends to appeal on behalf of the entire EU to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and French President Emmanuel Macron with a call to start peace talks with the aggressor country of russia as soon as possible.

We will remind you that on October 16, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy publicly presented the Victory Plan. It contains five points that should force russia to stop its aggression against Ukraine.

Later, Zelenskyy said that if the Western partners do not support the Victory Plan, it will be their big mistake and a privilege for russia.

We previously reported that Ukrainians in social networks reacted extremely ambiguously to the Victory Plan.
