Russia keeps 2 ships in Black Sea, one of which is missile carrier – Navy
As of 06:00 a.m., Thursday, October 17, russia has two ships on combat duty in the Black Sea, one of them is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 4 missiles, there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
The command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"There are 2 enemy ships in the Black Sea, of which 1 is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 4 missiles; there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov; in the Mediterranean Sea - 4 enemy ships, of which 3 are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 16 missiles," the message says.
During the day, in the interests of the russian federation, passage through the Kerch Strait was carried out by:
- to the Black Sea - 2 ships, of which 1 continued its movement in the direction of the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov - 9 ships, of which 1 was moving from the Bosphorus Strait.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, as of the morning of October 15, there were also 2 enemy ships in the Black Sea, including 1 Kalibr cruise missile carrier, while there were no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
