Losses of personnel of the russian troops on October 9 increased by 1,080 to 665,200 people, Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 1 tank, 14 armored fighting vehicles and 41 artillery systems.

This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to October 10, 2024 approximately amounted to:

• personnel - about 665,200 (+1,080) persons were eliminated;
• tanks - 8,945 (+1) units;
• armored combat vehicles - 17,765 (+14) units;
• artillery systems - 19,263 (+41) units;
• MLRS - 1,225 (+2) units;
• air defense equipment - ​​976 (+3) units;
• aircraft - 369 units;
• helicopters - 328 units;
• UAVs of the operational-tactical level - 16,767 (+49) units;
• cruise missiles - 2,619 (+1) units;
• ships/boats - 28 units;
• submarines - 1 unit;
• automotive equipment and tank trucks - 26,314 (+74) units;
• special equipment - 3,386 (+1) units.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, losses of personnel of the russian troops on October 8 increased by 1,150 to 664,120 people, equipment - by 11 armored vehicles and 19 artillery systems.
