Priorities for 2025 defense industry determined at Staff meeting
At the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief under the chairmanship of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, priorities for the defense-industrial complex for 2025 were determined.
Zelenskyy announced this in the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"The priorities for our defense industry for the next year have been determined. These include, in particular, missiles, drones, shells, as well as active attraction of investments from partners," he said.
Zelenskyy said that the Staff was devoted to the issue of providing the Defense Forces with weapons and military equipment.
Oleksandr Syrskyi, the Commander-in-Chief, reported on the needs of the army until the end of the year and in the future. Reports of all participants in the process on how to ensure these needs: what needs to be purchased, what Ukraine will receive from allies, what it will produce on its own, were also listened.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers proposes to the Verkhovna Rada to increase funding for national security and defense in 2025 to UAH 2,223 billion or 26.3% of GDP.
