On October 6, russia launched ballistic missile attack on civilian ship with corn in Pivdennyi Seaport
On the night of October 5-6, russia launched a ballistic missile attack on the civilian ship PARESA under the flag of Saint Kitts and Nevis with Ukrainian corn near one of the berths in the Pivdennyi Seaport (Odesa Region).
This is stated in the message of the Ukrainian Seaports Authority (USPA), the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"The ballistic missile hit directly into the open hold of the ship loaded with corn. There were about 6,000 tons of Ukrainian corn on board, which was supposed to go to Italy the very next morning. Fortunately, none of the 15 crew members, citizens of Egypt and Syria, were injured," the message reads.
It is noted that this incident is another proof that russia continues its grain terror, trying to undermine Ukraine's export capabilities and threatening the world's food security.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, russian terrorists attacked the Odesa Region with drones and ballistic missiles on the night of October 6.
