Fighters of air defense units destroy 2 missiles and 69 Shaheds in sky of Ukraine – AFU Air Forces
As a result of an anti-aircraft battle on the night of September 28, two Kh-59/69 guided air missiles and 69 enemy attack UAVs of the Shahed type were shot down.
The command of the Air Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces informed about such achievements of the defenders of Ukraine.
In addition to the 69 shot down, one more drone flew in the direction of russia, three more were lost in location on the territory of Ukraine.
It is specified that in total the russian federation launched 77 means:
- two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from occupied Crimea;
- two Kh-59/69 guided air missiles from the airspace of the TOT of the Zaporizhzhia Region;
- 73 attack UAVs of the Shahed type from the regions of Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Oryol - russia, Cape Chauda - Crimea.
The air attack was repelled in the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Rivne, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Odesa and Mykolaiv Regions.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of September 27, the russians launched an Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile, two Kh-22 cruise missiles and 32 Shaheds over the territory of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian military managed to shoot down 24 drones.
