Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups trying to break through to Vuhledar, AFU burn lots of enemy equipment on approaches – Administration
Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups are trying to break into Vuhledar in the Donetsk Region, but the Ukrainian military destroys these groups.
The head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, spoke about the situation.
So, according to him, there is no enemy on the outskirts of the city yet, but russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups are coming.
"On the approaches to Vuhledar, our defenders burned a huge amount of enemy equipment. Separate russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups are trying to break into the city, but the soldiers of the Armed Forces destroy these groups," the message reads.
At the same time, according to Filashkin, the enemy is advancing.
"The city has not been captured yet, and let's hope that it won't happen," he added.
He also informed that at this time about 100 people remain in the city and flatly refuse to leave. He noted that it is very difficult to deliver humanitarian aid to them, because the enemy is shooting all the ways.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, according to British intelligence, russian occupation forces are threatening the city of Vuhledar in the Donetsk Region from three sides, and are likely to press further in this area during the next week.
