Russians training FPV-drone pilots at Zaporizhzhia NPP and using Nikopol as a training ground – Center for Countering Disinformation
The russian occupiers use the territory of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant to train FPV drone pilots.
Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine has reported this.
"The Russians are using the Zaporizhzhia NPP as a training ground for FPV pilots," the report said.
Kovalenko noted that these pilots are terrorizing the city of Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk Region, using the Ukrainian city with civilians as a training ground.
"In fact, for Russia, the Zaporizhzhia NPP is a cover," added the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) adopted a resolution confirming the need to return the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant under the control of Ukraine.
On August 18, IAEA Director General Raphael Grossi announced the deterioration of the security situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
