154 combat clashes take place at front during day, most - on Pokrovsk, Lyman and Kurakhove axes - General Staff

On September 24, 154 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest areas were the Pokrovsk (25 clashes), Lyman (22 clashes) and Kurakhove (20 clashes) axes.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

Yesterday, the enemy launched three missile strikes against the positions of Ukrainian units and population centers using six missiles, as well as 75 airstrikes, in particular, dropping 123 guided aerial bombs.

Besides, the enemy shelled Ukraine almost 5,000 times, 178 of them from multiple launch rocket systems, and engaged about 1,700 kamikaze drones for destruction.

A total of 154 combat clashes with the russian invaders were recorded on September 24.

The operation is ongoing in the Kursk Oblast, where over the past day, russian aircraft have carried out 13 airstrikes with 19 guided aerial bombs on their own territory.

On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy Regions, the enemy from the territory of the russian federation is actively using artillery and aviation in the areas of Ukrainian settlements.

Missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit two enemy control points, 20 personnel concentration areas, three air defense systems and one artillery system of the enemy in the past day.

The losses of the russian invaders on September 24 amounted to 1,250 people.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on September 23, 143 combat clashes took place on the front, the hottest axis was the Pokrovsk area, where 31 clashes took place during the day, the enemy also actively advanced on the Kurakhove (21 clashes) and Lyman (19 clashes) axes.
