Russia complains about nighttime mass attack by unmanned aerial vehicles

The Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country russia announced a mass attack by Ukrainian aircraft-type drones on objects on the territory of the country on the night of Sunday, September 15.

Thus, the occupiers’ Ministry of Defense informed that their air defense systems allegedly destroyed twenty-nine Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, of which:

• fifteen - over the territory of the Bryansk Oblast;
• five - over the Kursk Oblast;
• four - over the Smolensk Oblast;
• two - over the Oryol Oblast;
• one - over the Belgorod Oblast;
• one - over the Kaluga Oblast;
• one - over the Rostov Oblast.

The governor of the Smolensk Oblast, Vasily Anokhin, also announced the attack of two UAVs that were allegedly shot down in the Roslavlsky and Smolensky Districts. According to him, there were no injuries or damage as a result of the debris falling to the ground. However, it is worth noting that footage of the fire in the Smolensk Oblasdt after the explosions is published online.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of Sunday, September 15, radio engineering troops of the Air Forces discovered and escorted 17 air attack means of the russian invaders.

The enemy's attack was repulsed by anti-aircraft missile forces, mobile fire groups and units of the electronic warfare of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, one Kh-59 guided air missile and 10 attack UAVs were shot down.
