Finland announces new package of military aid to Ukraine
Finland has announced the allocation of the 25th package of military aid to Ukraine worth EUR 118 million.
The press service of the Ministry of Defense of Finland has reported this.
On September 13, the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb, approved the Government's proposal for military aid to Ukraine.
It is noted that the total value of military aid transferred to Ukraine is EUR 2.3 billion.
"The situation in Ukraine remains difficult. Finland, as promised, will continue to provide assistance. We are sending a signal to other partner countries that we cannot stop," commented Finnish Defense Minister Antti Häkkänen.
Finland has not disclosed details about the package's contents and estimated delivery times for security reasons.
The aid was formed taking into account the requests of Ukraine and the resources available to the Finnish army.
Recall that the other day Croatia provided Ukraine with the eleventh package of military aid.
