On Friday, Ukraine will receive emergency assistance from energy systems of Poland, Slovakia and Romania

On Friday, September 13, to overcome the deficit in the energy system, an emergency supply of electricity from the power systems of Poland, Slovakia and Romania is taking place.

The press service of the Ukrenergo national power company has announced this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"Today, in order to overcome the deficit in the energy system, at the request of Ukrenergo, there is an emergency supply of electricity to Ukraine from the power systems of Poland, Slovakia, and Romania. Also, emergency aid from Slovakia and Poland was received yesterday, September 12," the message says.

It is noted that currently electricity consumption corresponds to seasonal indicators.

"As of 9:30 a.m. today, its level was 2.1% lower than at the same time on Thursday, September 12. Yesterday, September 12, the daily maximum consumption was recorded during the daytime hours. It was 1.8% lower than the previous day - on Wednesday, September 11," the message reads.

During the day, it is planned to import electricity from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova in the total volume of 18,204 MWh, with the maximum capacity in individual hours up to 1,485 MW.

Export of electricity does not take place and is not expected.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukraine has lost more than 9 GW of capacity since the end of March due to russian shelling.
