Russia cut off water supply to Pokrovsk. Residents urged to evacuate

As a result of the attack by the occupiers, the modular filter station, through which Pokrovsk of the Donetsk Region received water, is not working. It is currently impossible to resume its work.

This was announced by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.

It is noted that the region is already working on solving this problem. In particular, 75 wells for public use were drilled at the expense of the local budget in the Pokrovsk community, and 250 wells near multi-story buildings were drilled at the expense of Association of Co-Owners of Apartment Buildings.

At the same time, drinking water delivery was organized in the community, 8 reverse osmosis units were installed, from which people can get water for free.

"The situation is difficult and will not get better in the near future. That's why I call once again: evacuate! Evacuation is the only right choice for civilians!" Filashkin urged.

Earlier, in connection with the deterioration of the security situation, the forced evacuation of children was announced in another 32 settlements of the Donetsk Region.
