Rada appoints Hrynchuk as Minister of Environmental Protection

The Verkhovna Rada has appointed Svitlana Hrynchuk as Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources.

Member of Parliament from the Holos faction, Yaroslav Zhelezniak, announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

A total of 246 parliamentarians voted for bill No. 12013 as a whole, with of the minimum required 226.

Since September 2023, Hrynchuk has held the position of Deputy Minister of Energy, previously she held the position of Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources for European Integration.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on September 4, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Ruslan Strilets from the post of Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources.
