AFU eliminate 1,390 occupiers, 34 armored vehicles and 43 drones. General Staff names losses of russians for day

On September 3, the Defense Forces eliminated another 1,390 russian soldiers at the front. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the russian federation has lost more than 620,000 personnel.

It was announced on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

The total combat losses of the enemy from 02/24/22 to 09/04/24 approximately amounted to:

• personnel - about 620,350 (+1,390) people;
• tanks – 8,618 (+7) units;
• armored fighting vehicles - 16,848 (+27) units;
• artillery systems - 17,694 (+30) units;
• MLRS – 1,177 units;
• air defense equipment - 940 units;
• aircraft - 368 units;
• helicopters - 328 units;
• UAVs of operational-tactical level – 14,616 (+43) units;
• cruise missiles – 2,580 units;
• ships/boats - 28 units;
• submarines - 1 unit;
• vehicles and fuel tanks - 24,007 (+35) units;
• special equipment – 3,014 (+12) units.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in August, the aggressor country russia lost about 36,810 soldiers in Ukraine. Also, the Armed Forces destroyed 6,383 pieces of weapons and military equipment.
