Death toll in Poltava increased to 52, there may still be people under rubble

As of September 4, 52 people are known to have been killed as a result of a missile attack on Poltava on September 3.

Svitlana Rybalko, spokeswoman for rescuers of the Poltava Region, reported this in a comment to Suspilne.

According to her, the number of killed has increased to 52, of which 22 were unblocked from under the rubble. Also, 271 people were injured.

It is known that up to 13 people may be under the rubble of the six-story building of the educational building. Currently, 800 tons of construction debris have been removed from the site of the shelling.

It is also known about the damage to three apartment buildings and five private buildings, as well as an office building.

It will be recalled that on September 4, a three-day mourning for those killed in a missile attack was announced in the Poltava Region.

In addition, Syrskyi reported that the military service of law and order in the Armed Forces of Ukraine is maximally involved in the operational investigation of the russian missile attack.
