AFU eliminate 1,360 invaders, 45 units of armored vehicles and 36 drones. General Staff names russia’s losses for the day
Losses of personnel of the russian troops on September 2 increased by 1,360 to 618,960 people, Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 10 tanks, 35 armored fighting vehicles, and 18 artillery systems.
This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to September 03, 2024 approximately amounted to:
- personnel - about 618,960 (+1,360) persons were eliminated;
- tanks - 8,611 (+10) units;
- armored combat vehicles - 16,821 (+35) units;
- artillery systems - 17,664 (+18) units;
- MLRS - 1,177 units;
- air defense equipment - 940 units;
- aircraft - 368 units;
- helicopters - 328 units;
- UAVs of the operational-tactical level - 14,573 (+36) units;
- cruise missiles - 2,578 (+21) units;
- ships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 23,972 (+47) units;
- special equipment - 3,002 (+9) units.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the losses of personnel of the russian troops on September 2 increased by 1,360 to 617,600 people, equipment - by 9 tanks, 26 armored vehicles and 10 artillery systems.
Meanwhile, in August, the aggressor country of russia lost about 36,810 soldiers in Ukraine. Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 6,383 units of weapons and military equipment.
