Russians launched 4 missiles and 35 Shaheds over Ukraine. AFU tell about results of air defense work
On the night of September 2-3, the russian occupiers launched 39 air targets over Ukraine, including 35 Shahed-131/136 attack drones. Air defense forces managed to shoot down 27 drones.
This was reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning of September 3.
The military said that the occupiers used the following weapons to attack Ukraine tonight:
- 35 Shahed-131/136 attack drones;
- 3 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles;
- 1 guided air missile Kh-59/69.
The occupiers launched ballistic missiles from the territory of occupied Crimea, the Kh-59/69 missile from the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation.
The occupiers launched the drones in several waves from the test site at Cape Chauda in Crimea and the Kursk Oblast.
Air defense forces managed to shoot down 27 enemy drones. Another 6 were lost in location - there was no information about the destruction or casualties.
Also, two more drones flew in the direction of the occupied part of the Donetsk Region and the territory of the Belgorod Oblast of the russian federation.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the evening of September 2, the russian occupiers launched a missile attack on Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the hit of the missile, a woman and a child were killed.
