Russians attack agricultural facilities in Mykolaiv and Sumy Regions at night

On the night of September 1, the russian army struck the Ukrainian agricultural sector and logistics in the Mykolaiv and Sumy Regions.

The command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported this.

Iskander-M missiles and Shahed-131/136 drones from Cape Chauda in occupied Crimea were used for the strikes.

Ukrainian defenders managed to shoot down 8 attack UAVs within the Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsk Regions.

At the same time, in the Sumy Region, border settlements were shelled. In the Verhnia Syrovatka community, the russians launched a missile attack, as a result of which one civilian was killed and four were injured.

The prosecutor's office of the Sumy Region announced that the russians launched a missile attack on a convoy of grain trucks on the Sumy-Kharkiv road near the village of Verkhnia Syrovatka of the Sumy District.

"As a result of the occupiers' attack, a 23-year-old truck driver was killed, 4 other drivers were injured. One truck caught fire and about 20 were damaged," the report said.

In the Mykolaiv Region, due to falling debris, a fire broke out in a warehouse for storing grain in the village of Lymany. There are no casualties.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, as a result of a russian attack on the village of Cherkaska Lozova in the Kharkiv Region on Saturday, two people were killed and several others were injured.

At least 5 civilians of the city of Chasiv Yar, located in the Donetsk Region, were killed by russian shelling on the morning of August 31.
