183 combat clashes take place at front on penultimate day of summer – AFU General Staff’s operational update
During the past day, 183 combat clashes were recorded. The hottest situation was on the Pokrovsk axis, the enemy was also active on the Kupiansk, Lyman and Kurakhove axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its morning operational update, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
According to detailed information, yesterday the enemy hit the positions of Ukrainian units and population centers, launching three strikes with five missiles, and 75 airstrikes, dropping 98 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy fired more than 4,000 shots, 140 of them from multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Sumy, Hlukhiv, Sosnivka, Shalyhyne of the Sumy Region; Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, Hoptivka, Semenivka, Senkove, Hlushkivka of the Kharkiv Region; Chasiv Yar, Dmytrivka, Druzhba, Mykhailivka, Selydove, Oleksandropil, Vodiane, Yehorivka, Solodke of the Donetsk Region; Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka of the Zaporizhzhia Region.
Yesterday, the aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces carried out nine strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and equipment of the enemy. In addition, an air defense unit and another important object were hit.
On the Kharkiv axis, seven clashes took place near Pletenivka, Lyptsi and Vovchansk.
32 battles were fought on the Kupiansk axis. The defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Synkivka, Kolisnykivka, Novoosynove, Lozova, Andriivka, Stelmakhivka, and Hlushkivka.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 22 times near Tverdokhlibove, Novoserhiivka, Druzheliubivka, Hrekivka, Cherneshchyna, Makiivka, Nevske, and Novosadove.
On the Siversk axis, the russians advanced four times near Verkhniokamianske, Ivano-Dariivka, and Vyimka.
There were 12 combat clashes on the Kramatorsk axis. Ukrainian defenders repelled the assaults of the russian invaders near Kalynivka, Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Ivanivske, Andriivka and Predtechyne.
16 battles were fought on the Toretsk axis, in particular, near Toretsk and Nelipivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, our defenders repelled 55 enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Zelene Pole, Vozdvyzhenka, Hrodivka, Karlivka, Novohrodivka, Marynivka, Myroliubivka, Mykhailivka and Selydove. The greatest concentration of attacks was near Novohrodivka.
On the Kurakhove axis, the Defense Forces stopped 24 enemy attacks near Ukrainsk, Halytsynivka, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, and Kostiantynivka.
On the Vremivka axis, the russian invaders advanced eight times near Vuhledar and Vodiane. They had no success.
One skirmish took place on the Orikhiv axis near Robotyne.
In the Dnieper axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy attacks.
On the Huliaipole axis, the situation has not changed much.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected on the Volyn and Polissia axes.
On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy Regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, carries out mortar and artillery attacks on the population centers from the territory of the russian federation.
At the same time, our soldiers continue to actively inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy along the entire line of battle.
In total, the russian invaders lost 1,360 people in the past day. Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed eight tanks, 14 armored combat vehicles, 42 artillery systems, one MLRS, 18 operational-tactical UAVs, a cruise missile, 62 vehicles and 10 units of special equipment.
