Putin's "curator" of temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine, Sergey Kiriyenko, notified of suspicion

The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) has gathered evidence on Sergey Kiriyenko, the first deputy head of the administration of the president of the aggressor country of the russian federation, who promotes the war against Ukraine. The official has been a confidant of russian dictator vladimir putin for many years and is part of his closest circle.

This is stated in the notification of the SSU.

Thus, after the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation, the head of the kremlin appointed Kiriyenko as a "curator" of the temporarily occupied districts of the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia Regions.

There, he coordinates the activities of the occupation administrations of the aggressor country, particularly in "personnel" matters.

According to the case materials, starting in May 2022, it is Kiriyenko who supervises absolutely all spheres of forced integration of the temporarily captured territories of Ukraine into the "legislative field" of russia.

In particular, Kiriyenko took a direct part in the organization of pseudo-referendums of the aggressor country and was responsible for the results of the "voting".

And in the fall of 2023, he personally handed Gauleiters Pasichnyk, Saldo, and Pushylin "documents" for their appointment as heads of local russian occupation bodies.

The person involved is also authorized to coordinate the media resources of the kremlin, which impose the ideology of so-called ruscism on the temporarily occupied part of the territory of Ukraine.

On the basis of the collected evidence, the investigators of the Security Service notified Kiriyenko of suspicion in absentia under the following articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

Comprehensive measures are underway to bring him to justice for crimes against our state.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Security Service thwarted new attempts by the aggressor country of the russian federation to obtain actual data on the defense of Kharkiv. During a special operation in the regional center, an FSB informant who was spying on Ukrainian troops was detained.
