Agricultural companies receive UAH 153 million in compensation for purchased agricultural machinery from Ukrainian manufacturers

Agricultural companies received UAH 152.6 million in compensation for purchased agricultural machinery from Ukrainian manufacturers.

This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Economy, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

In particular, farmers received UAH 220,000 in compensation for April, UAH 18.6 million for May, UAH 72.2 million for June, and UAH 61.6 million for July.

"During the four months of operation of this program, farmers were awarded UAH 152.6 million in compensation for the purchased agricultural machinery and equipment of Ukrainian production. In addition to supporting farmers, the program is also a tool for the development of Ukrainian engineering, because it stimulates the increase in the number of domestic producers of agricultural machinery. Currently, there are already 121 manufacturers in the program, and the number of products includes more than 11,000 items. Compensation of 25% of the cost of Ukrainian agricultural machinery is an important component of the "Made in Ukraine" policy, aimed at supporting production, which is why we have allocated UAH 1 billion for this program in the budget this year,” said First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko.

It is noted that during the entire duration of the program, agricultural enterprises purchased 859 units of Ukrainian-made machinery and equipment for the amount of UAH 913.6 million.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers decided on March 8 to launch a program of 25% compensation for the cost of Ukrainian-made agricultural machinery.
