The total combat losses of the aggressor country of the russian federation as of the morning of August 27 since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine amount to more than 610,000 servicemen. Over the last day, the invaders lost 1,280 people.
This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
According to updated data, the total combat losses of the russian army from the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022 to August 27, 2024 are approximately:
- Personnel: about 610,100 military personnel (+1,280 in the last day).
- Tanks: 8,563 units (+12).
- Armored combat vehicles: 16,667 units (+19).
- Artillery systems: 17,495 units (+52).
- MLRS: 1,173 units (+1).
- Air defense equipment: 937 units.
- Aircraft: 367 units.
- Helicopters: 328 units.
- UAVs of operational-tactical level: 14,254 units (+120).
- Cruise missiles: 2,547 units (+103).
- Ships/boats: 28 units.
- Submarines: 1 unit.
- Vehicles and fuel tanks: 23,613 units (+58).
- Special equipment: 2,944 units (+3).
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the losses of personnel of the russian troops on August 22 increased by 1,190 to 605,330 people, and Ukrainian defenders over the day also destroyed 4 tanks, 32 armored combat vehicles and 45 artillery systems.
