Fragments of Shahed damage apartment building In Lutsk

On the morning of August 26, debris from the Shahed damaged an apartment building in Lutsk. Information about the victims is being clarified.

This follows from a statement by the Head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration, Yurii Pohuliaiko.

"The air alert continues. According to the information of the Air Force over Ukraine, missiles and Shaheds were fired. A missile was shot down near Lutsk. The debris fell on the territory of the regional center," the message says.

According to the Regional Military Administration, an apartment building was damaged as a result. As of now, information about the victims is being clarified.

All relevant services are said to be on site.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, meanwhile, in the morning in the Kyiv Region, on the approaches to Kyiv, the anti-aircraft defense was working against the background of the announcement of an air alert throughout Ukraine due to the threat of cruise missile launches from the Tu-95MS aircraft of the russian federation.
