Forced evacuation of children introduced in front-line Pokrovsk and community settlements
In front-line Pokrovsk and settlements of the Pokrovsk Territorial Community of the Donetsk Region, due to the approach of the russian occupation army, forced evacuation of children is introduced.
Vadym Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, announced this on his Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"Recently, the front has come too close to the Pokrovsk District, and it is necessary to respond appropriately," Filashkin wrote.
According to him, more than 53,000 people continue to live in the Pokrovsk community, of which almost 4,000 are children.
That is why at an extraordinary meeting of the Regional Commission for Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies, a decision was made to introduce forced evacuation of children in the Pokrovsk community.
These are the settlements of Pokrovsk, Rodynske, Hnativka, Dachenske, Zhovte, Zelene, Lysivka, Novopavlivka, Novoukrainka, Pushkino, Rih, Sukhyi Yar, Troianda and Chunyshyne.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, last day, August 18, 145 combat clashes took place at the front, while the enemy attacked the Pokrovsk axis the most, where 45 combat clashes took place.
Earlier today, August 19, the Pokrovsk City Military Administration said that residents of Pokrovsk have approximately two weeks to evacuate to safer regions of the country.
Recall that in the neighboring Myrnohrad, the work of the Nova Poshta branch will be suspended from August 20.
We also reported that over the past day, 12 residents of the Donetsk Region became victims of shelling by the occupiers.
