Situation on border with Belarus unchanged, movement of equipment or personnel not recorded - State Border Guard Service

The situation on the border with Belarus remains unchanged and under control, no accumulation of additional Belarusian troops or equipment is recorded.

The spokesman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andrii Demchenko, announced this on the air of the United News telethon.

"The situation directly along the border is unchanged, it is fully controlled. But of course, we see that Belarus is once again starting to inflame the situation in this direction. Most likely, in order to continue to play along with Russia. We see accusations towards Ukraine - this has been done repeatedly by Lukashenko and throughout Belarus," said Demchenko.

He added that currently the border guards do not record the movement of equipment or personnel of the Belarusian troops near the Ukrainian border.

"Most likely, as part of this informational influence, Belarus will be forced to take photos and video materials. Perhaps some units will be in the direction of the border with Ukraine, but at the moment, no additional forces are recorded near our border," Demchenko said.

He also emphasized that Ukrainian border guards continue to monitor the situation in Belarus.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on August 10, the leader of the Belarusian regime Aleksandr Lukashenko accused Ukraine of allegedly violating the airspace of Belarus. He claims that Ukrainian drones flew into Belarus.

Later, Belarus announced that they would transfer Iskanders and Polonezs to the regions bordering Ukraine.
