The losses of personnel of the russian troops on August 9 increased by 1,160 to 589,700 people, Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 7 tanks, 9 armored fighting vehicles and 69 artillery systems.

This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

So, the enemy lost 7 tanks (total – 8,441), 9 armored fighting vehicles (total – 16,350), 69 artillery systems (total – 16,605), 2 air defense means (total – 918), 1 MLRS unit ( total - 1,143), 1 cruise missile (total - 2,435), 82 units of motor vehicles and tank trucks (total - 22,453), 20 units of special equipment (total - 2,789) and 47 drones (total - 13,372).

Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has also lost 366 units of aircraft, 327 helicopters, 28 ships/boats and 1 submarine.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the losses of personnel of the russian troops on August 8 increased by 1,030 to 588,540 people, equipment - by 9 armored vehicles and 49 artillery systems.
