EV sales up 38% to 4,800 cars in July

In July 2024, the sales of electric vehicles (EVs) increased by 38% year over year, to 4,787,000.

This follows from a statement by the Ukravtoprom association, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

In July, the sale of passenger EVs amounted to 4,684 units (980 new units) and 103 commercial electric vehicles (six new units).

The most popular new EVs in July were Honda M-NV - 239 units, BYD Song - 127 units, Nissan Ariya - 118 units, Volkswagen ID.4 - 88 units, and ZEEKR 001 - 69 units.

The most popular in July among the used EVs registered for the first time in Ukraine were the Nissan Leaf - 529 units, Tesla Model 3 - 433 units, Tesla Model Y - 419 units, Tesla Model S - 217 units, and Volkswagen e-Golf - 209 units.

Since the beginning of the year, more than 29,200 EVs have been registered for the first time in Ukraine.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2023, the sale of EVs increased by 2.8 times year over year, to 37,600.
