AFU destroy 1,230 invaders, 37 AFVs and 67 artillery systems. General Staff names losses of russians for day

As of the morning of August 7, the aggressor country of the russian federation lost 1,230 soldiers, 67 artillery systems and 29 armored fighting vehicles at the front.

This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

The total combat losses of the enemy from 02/24/22 to 08/07/24 are approximately:

• personnel - about 586,370 (+1,230) persons were eliminated;
• tanks – 8,429 (+8) units;
• armored fighting vehicles - 16,323 (+29) units;
• artillery systems – 16,451 (+67) units;
• MLRS – 1,138 units;
• air defense equipment - 910 units;
• aircraft - 365 units;
• helicopters - 326 units;
• UAVs of operational-tactical level – 13,212 (+54) units;
• cruise missiles – 2,421 (+1) units;
• ships/boats - 28 units;
• submarines - 1 unit;
• motor vehicles and tank trucks - 22,226 (+78) units;
• special equipment – 2,759 (+21) units.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the losses of personnel of the russian troops on August 5 increased by 1,050 to 585,140 people, and Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 4 tanks, 8 armored fighting vehicles and 39 artillery systems.
