Russia increased number of missile carriers in Black Sea
On the morning of August 6, the aggressor country of the russian federation took two ships carrying Kalibr cruise missiles to the Black Sea on combat duty. A day earlier, only one enemy missile carrier was observed in this water area.
The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU Navy) reported this in Telegram.
This ship group of the russian federation in the Black Sea is capable of launching up to 8 Kalibrs with one salvo for a possible strike.
Enemy ships are still not detected in the Sea of Azov.
Meanwhile, 2 russian ships were spotted in the Mediterranean Sea, 1 of which is a Kalibr carrier with a total salvo of up to 16 missiles.
Also, the Navy of the AFU informed that during the day in the interests of the russian federation, passage through the Kerch Strait was carried out:
- to the Black Sea - 6 ships, of which 3 continued their movement in the direction of the Bosphorus Strait,
- to the Sea of Azov - 9 ships, none of them moved from the Bosphorus Strait.
In addition, the military said that the aggressor country of russia continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems (AIS).
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as of the morning of Monday, August 5, one russian ship carrying Kalibr cruise missiles was spotted in the Black Sea.
