Occupiers carry out missile attack on downtown Kharkiv – Terekhov

Russian occupation forces shelled Kharkiv and aimed at the city's densely built-up areas. The mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov, announced this on his Telegram channel on Tuesday, August 6.

After the explosions, a fire broke out in Kharkiv. Terekhov reported that the russian occupiers launched a rocket attack on the central district of the city, where there is dense residential construction.

"As a result of a missile attack on the center of Kharkiv, the building of the polyclinic was damaged. Currently, the information about the injured and the destruction is being clarified," the city's mayor wrote.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, explosions were heard in Kharkiv on the morning of August 3. Local authorities confirmed that they were the result of russian terror.
