Russia keeps 2 missile carriers in Black Sea, there are no enemy ships in Sea of Azov - Navy
As of 06:00 a.m. on Friday, August 2, the aggressor country of russia has 2 ships on combat duty in the Black Sea - carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 8 missiles, there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
This was announced by the command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"There are 2 enemy ships in the Black Sea, of which 2 are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 8 missiles; there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov; in the Mediterranean Sea - 2 enemy ships, of which 1 is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 16 missiles," the message says.
During the day, in the interests of the russian federation, passage through the Kerch Strait was carried out by:
- to the Black Sea - 6 ships, of which 2 continued their movement in the direction of the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov - 6 ships, of which 1 was moving from the Bosphorus Strait.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as of the morning of July 31, there were 2 ships carrying Kalibr cruise missiles in the Black Sea, and there were no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
