At night, occupiers attacked Ukraine with drones. Air defense forces downed 11 enemy drones

During the past and current day, Ukrainian forces destroyed 11 enemy UAVs of various types in the south and east of the country, including one Shahed.

This was announced by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Friday, August 2.

"During the past and current day, air defense shot down 11 UAVs of various types in the southern and eastern directions," the statement said.

In the area of ​​responsibility of the Southern Air Command, the Air Defense Forces destroyed one UAV of the Shahed 136/131 type, two - Supercam, and three - Lancet.

In the east, one Orlan-10 UAV was shot down, the type of four more UAVs is being clarified.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of July 30-31, the occupiers launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine, using 89 drones. Air defense forces shot down all the drones and the Kh-59 missile.
