Russians admit that RF Black Sea Fleet lost to SSU sea drones - Zahorodniy
The russian fleet lost the battle for the Black Sea to Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) naval drones. Now this fact has been recognized in the russian State Duma.
Political scientist Taras Zahorodniy writes about this.
The expert emphasizes that none of the ships that Ukraine claimed to have destroyed or damaged took part in the parade on the day of the russian Navy. "And let me remind you that more than a dozen such ships were damaged by SSU naval drones! An explanation soon arrived from the representative of the ruling party in the russian federation United Russia, State Duma member Fedorov. He publicly called for the recognition of the defeat of the Black Sea Fleet of the russian federation by SSU naval drones," the political scientist reports.
Zahorodniy reminds that previously naval drones received high praise from both NATO generals and leading Western media. "Now the enemy itself has admitted its defeat. Sea Baby and other modifications of drones are an example of how with fewer resources, but thanks to modern technologies, you can win the war. Maliuk's team was able to ensure the superiority of Ukraine on the Black Sea - despite the fact that the forces of the russian Black Sea Fleet were much larger and more expensive," the expert emphasizes.
"The russians themselves have already understood that naval drones have completely changed the course of war at sea: now a modern naval war cannot be imagined without their use. And the fact that our special service has created the world's first fleet of naval drones, which has shown its superiority over the enemy's traditional fleet - one from key moments in the war," Zahorodniy summarizes.
It will be recalled that earlier it became known that the deputy commander of the NATO Joint Forces Command in Norfolk (Virginia, USA), Rear Admiral Timothy Henry, said that the successful experience of Ukraine in destroying a large part of the Black Sea Fleet of the russian federation through the effective use of SSU maritime drones and other technologies is subject of study by NATO countries.
