Russia reports fire at a substation in Belgorod Oblast after a drone attack

Overnight into Monday, July 29, explosions were heard near Belgorod (russia), allegedly as a result of a drone attack. In the region, a substation was hit, and a fire broke out there.

This follows from a statement by local media and Telegram channels.

The fire accident occurred in the village of Tomarovka, Yakovliv city district.

As the Telegram channel Ashes Belgorod writes, this object was attacked by drones and caught fire around midnight.

It is also noted that after that, the light went out in the settlement itself.

In local chats and Z-media, it was reported that the substation in Tamarovka is under attack, not for the first time. After the current fire, there are also communication problems.

Meanwhile, the governor of the Belgorod Oblast, Vyacheslav Gladkov, did not say anything about air attacks using drones that night on his TV channel.

Instead, a russian official wrote around four o'clock about the missile danger for Belgorod and the district, Shebekino and Shebekino Districts, but later announced that such danger had been repelled.
