Occupiers attacks with X-59 missile and drones overnight
Overnight into July 28, russian troops attacked Ukraine with a Kh-59 missile and eight kamikaze drones.
This was reported by Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk on Telegram.
"Overnight into July 28, 2024, the enemy attacked with a Kh-59 guided air missile from the airspace over the Black Sea and 8 Shahed attack UAVs from Cape Chauda (Crimea)," he said.
KAR Kh-59 and seven Shahed-131/136 UAVs were shot down by air defense forces.
"Almost all air targets were destroyed in the Odesa Region," Oleshchuk added.
During the past day, on July 27, the russian invaders lost another 1,180 soldiers and 13 tanks in the war in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the State Border Service currently does not record an increase in the grouping of enemy troops near the border with Belarus or from the Sumy Region.
The Chernihiv Region and Sumy Region suffer from daily enemy shelling, as does the Kharkiv Region.
