Martial law and mobilization in Ukraine will be prolonged – MP Zhelezniak

Martial law and mobilization in Ukraine will be prolonged. They are likely to be prolonged at least until November 9, 2024.

Member of Parliament from the Holos faction, Yaroslav Zhelezniak, reported this on Telegram.

As the parliamentarian noted, it is expected that in the coming days, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will submit to the Verkhovna Rada two bills on the extension of martial law and general mobilization.

According to the MP, voting in the parliamentary committee and the Rada will take place next week, probably on July 22-25. Thus, both martial law and mobilization can be extended for 90 days, that is, until November 9, 2024.

This will be the 12th vote of the Verkhovna Rada for the continuation of martial law and mobilization.
