Ukraine has great strategy for waging war against russia – NATO General

Ukraine has a "great strategy" for waging war against the aggressor country of the russian federation, although the course of hostilities is becoming more and more difficult to predict.

General Christopher Gerard Cavoli, the Commander of the U.S. European Command and Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR), has stated this to the Voice of America.

"One of the challenges that we see, and one of the biggest lessons that I think we can learn from the war in Ukraine, is that in modern wars, you either win quickly or you have a long job ahead of you, full of unpredictable turns. And this is where we are now," said the General.

He emphasized that the course of the war will depend on the ability to "generate power." In particular, which side will be able to accumulate "quality power faster and take advantage of it while it has a window of opportunity."

At the same time, the General noted that the Ukrainians are currently generating such strength and skillfully building their strategy.

"Over the past few months, the Ukrainians have been focused on protecting the eastern territories, preventing Russia from freely using Crimea and southern Ukraine to attack, maintaining their access to the Black Sea and generating power. So, I think they have a great strategy. It's just a matter of continuing its implementation," he said.

Cavoli noted that the key part of the "power generation" for Ukraine currently depends on the EU and NATO countries.

Recall that Cavoli previously stated that the mobilization in Ukraine began to advance better. In particular, thanks to the lowering of the conscription age to 25 years.
