Stoltenberg wants to discuss Orbán's trip to russia at summit in Washington

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg hopes to discuss Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's visit to the russian federation at a summit in Washington.

He said this at a press conference, European Pravda reports.

"Hungary has informed us of this upcoming visit, and I expect that next week in Washington there will be an opportunity to talk about the discussions that he (Orbán - Ed.) had in moscow, as happens between allies on a regular basis," said the NATO Secretary General.

He also noted that during his recent visit to Budapest, the issue of the russian federation's war against Ukraine was discussed.

"Hungary agreed that russia is responsible for the war, is the culprit, and russia can end this war today and stop attacking Ukraine," Stoltenberg said.

He added that during today's visit to moscow, Orbán is not representing NATO, but only his country.

Recall that earlier the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, commented on Orbán’s visit to moscow. In her opinion, appeasement will not stop russian dictator vladimir putin.
