AFU eliminate 1,230 invaders, 36 armored vehicles and 32 artillery systems. General Staff reports russians’ losses for day
The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated another 1,230 russian invaders during the day, so the total losses of the enemy's army in personnel since the beginning of the large-scale invasion amounted to about 528,620 soldiers. In addition, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 16 tanks, 20 AFVs and 32 artillery systems of the invaders.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 02/24/22 to 06/18/24 approximately amounted to:
- personnel - 528,620 (+1,230) persons were liquidated;
- tanks – 7,974 (+16) units;
- armored fighting vehicles - 15,307 (+20) units;
- artillery systems – 13,959 (+32) units;
- MLRS – 1,104 units;
- air defense equipment - 853 units;
- aircraft - 359 units;
- helicopters - 326 units;
- UAVs of operational-tactical level – 11,187 (+20) units;
- cruise missiles – 2,297 (+1) units;
- ships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tank trucks - 19,031 (+40) units;
- special equipment – 2,344 (+7) units.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the losses of personnel of the russian troops on June 16 increased by 1,080 to 527,390 people, Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 2 tanks, 18 armored fighting vehicles and 14 artillery systems.
