AFU eliminate 1,080 invaders, 18 armored combat vehicles and 14 artillery systems. General Staff names russia’s losses for the day

Losses of personnel of the russian troops on June 16 increased by 1,080 to 527,390 people, Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 2 tanks, 18 armored combat vehicles and 14 artillery systems.

This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to June 16, 2024 approximately amounted to:

• personnel - 527,390 (+1,080) persons were eliminated;
• tanks - 7,958 (+2) units;
• armored combat vehicles - 15,287 (+18) units;
• artillery systems - 13,927 (+14) units;
• MLRS - 1,104 units;
• air defense equipment - 853 units;
• aircraft - 359 units;
• helicopters - 326 units;
• UAVs of operational-tactical level - 11,167 (+8) units;
• cruise missiles - 2,296 (+3) units;
• ships/boats - 28 units;
• submarines - 1 unit;
• automotive equipment and tank trucks - 18,991 (+24) units;
• special equipment - 2,337 (+12) units.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 14, losses of personnel of the russian troops increased by 1,090 to 525,150 people, equipment - by 20 tanks, 29 armored vehicles and 37 artillery systems.
