Export of Ukrainian dairy products up 35% in 5M

In the first five months of 2024, Ukraine exported 47,760 tons of dairy products, up 35% year over year.

This follows from a statement by the Association of Milk Producers, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

At the same time, in 5M, export revenue amounted to USD 96.62 million, up 5% year over year.

In May 2024, the export of Ukrainian dairy products increased by 8% to 11,330 tons and, in monetary terms - by 14% to USD 24.53 million.

The main export categories in May in monetary terms were: milk and condensed cream - 31%, ice cream - 24%, cheese - 19%, and butter - 13%.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2023, the export of Ukrainian dairy products decreased by 4% to 108,000 tons, and in monetary terms - by 38% year over year to USD 253 million.
