Ukrposhta cuts loss by 37% to UAH 796 million, ups revenues by 12% to UAH 11.6 billion in 2023

In 2023, compared to 2022, the Ukrposhta Joint Stock Company reduced its loss by 37%, or UAH 462 million, to UAH 796 million.

This is stated in the message of Ukrposhta, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Ukrposhta's net revenues in 2023 increased by 12%, or UAH 1.3 billion, to UAH 11.6 billion.

National mail service revenue rose 18% over 2022 to UAH 6.5 billion.

In particular, the income of delivery of parcels and small packages increased by 34%, the income from international postal exchange services - by 61%.

"Among the significant factors that had a negative impact on the company's financial performance, we can distinguish delays in the agreement of regulated tariffs and the fulfillment of free obligations to support state social initiatives," the statement said.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukrposhta ended 2022 with a loss of UAH 1.258 billion against UAH 183.6 million in profit for 2021.

According to the results of 2022, the company's net revenues decreased by 7.7%, or UAH 0.858 billion, compared to 2021, to UAH 10.323 billion.
