Sea Breeze-2014 Launched In Black Sea

A number of countries have sent military men as observers.

(Ukrainian News, Vitalii Sayenko, 09/08/2014) The Sea Breeze-2014 exercises launched in the north-western part of the Black Sea, press service of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine said.

The exercises will be held in compliance with the program of bilateral co-operation between the Defense Ministries of Ukraine and the United States under the plan for 2014 approved by the acting President Oleksandr Turchynov's decree of March 25.

Besides, according to the report, the Defense Ministry said that the exercises will be held in spirit of Partnership for Peace, thus, Spain, Canada, Romania and Turkey will also take part in the exercises.

A number of countries have sent military men as observers.

Among the countries are Georgia, Norway, Sweden and France.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, a total of 11 Sea Breeze exercises were held between 1997 and 2013.
