On Tuesday, September 6, the Ministry of Finance placed war bonds for UAH 47.3 million, which is the smallest amount since the beginning of the war.
This is evidenced from the data of the Ministry, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The Ministry of Finance placed securities with a circulation period of 210 days for UAH 27.5 million at 12% per annum and 385 days for UAH 19.8 million at 16% per annum.
Before that, the smallest amount was raised on August 16, it amounted to UAH 71.5 million.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Ministry of Finance said that war bonds are primarily a tool to support the state budget during the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, and not a tool to maximize income from investment activities, so rates from war bonds remain fixed.
