Ukraine has received a grant of EUR 88.5 million from the World Bank Trust Fund.
The Ministry of Finance has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Grant funds will be directed to the general fund of the state budget of Ukraine to ensure priority social, humanitarian, health care costs, and support for internally displaced persons.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 21, Finance Minister Serhii Marchenko and World Bank Regional Director for Eastern Europe (Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine) Arup Banerjee signed a grant agreement with the Trust Fund for Ukraine in the amount of EUR 88.5 million.
This Trust Fund was established by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Development Association.
Japan decided to provide Ukraine with a USD 100 million loan and a USD 2.3 million grant.
