42 Land Transactions Carried Out In Ukraine July 7 - Agrarian Policy Ministry

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food stated that over the past day, July 7, 42 land transactions were carried out in Ukraine.

The ministry has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Over the past 24 hours, 42 land transactions were carried out in Ukraine. Most of them took place in Vinnytsia and Poltava regions - five each," the statement reads.

It is noted that a total of 364 transactions have been carried out since the opening of the land market.

Vinnytsia and Poltava regions remain the leaders in transactions - both regions have 44 land operations per week.

As of July 7, only 2,832 applications for connection to the State Land Cadastre system were received from notaries, of which 2,471 were approved, 295 are in the queue for consideration, 364 were refused.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the land market was launched on July 1.

The State Service for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre declares that the connection of notaries to the service system for the execution of contracts for the sale and purchase of agricultural land is carried out in a regular mode.

Earlier, a number of media outlets published information that notaries were unable to connect to the system and thus the launch of the land market was being slowed down.
